Requirements and Conditions to Purchase Electronic Tickets

At the time of purchasing your ticket, you must provide your full name, nationality, date of birth and your identity number, these data must be such as they appear on the identity card, otherwise will not be allowed entry.
It should be noted that the ticket is personal, nominal and non-transferable.
The option to purchase Electronic Tickets online is available to all persons or corporations, domestic or foreign.

Identity documents that should indicate to purchase Electronic Ticket:

  • For foreigners in general: PASSPORT
  • For residents in Peru of any nationality: (Carnet de Extranjería)

The entry of visitors to Machu Picchu:

  • Any customer who visits the archaeological site is required to show their admission ticket and ID (original). For children who do not have identity documents and accompanied by adults, the Dirección Regional de Cultura Cusco assumed as certain identity data provided by adults. The Dirección Regional de Cultura Cusco reserves the right to review the ticket before and during the visit.
  • If the visitor does not show any identity document that shows ownership of the ticket with which you want to enter to the archaeological site or does not match its name you cannot enter, not having any refund of money.
  • If the visitor has not used the ticket on the specified date, there will be no refund of money by having validity one day.

The Electronic Ticket rates:

The rates or prices of entrance tickets to Machu Picchu are regulated by the Peruvian state in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
After payment, the prices are not subject to any change, even if the rates and / or exchange rates have varied between the payment date and the date of use of the electronic ticket.

Changes after the purchase:

At the time of purchase electronic tickets, the client provides information such as: full names, nationality, exact date of the visit, date of birth and identity number. After the payment of the tickets, NO DATA CAN BE CHANGED OR MODIFIED.

Claims to our company:

If the client considers necessary to make a complaint about our services after our performance finished, you can do so within 30 days from the date of the end of our services. Only our Agency may judge the legitimacy of the claim and resolve it with the client. After this period of 30 days, no claim of any kind will be accepted.

The prices we offer on our website have a surcharge on the price of the same ticket sold directly by the Peruvian Government and it is clearly posted on our web site. We don't have a policy of "If you find cheaper, will refund you the difference" in this case under any circumstances the client may require a partial or total refund under the pretext of having paid more than another visitor or have seen it cheaper anywhere else. Our prices are clearly posted on our pages and to judge them and compare them before you buy corresponds to the visitor. Buy tickets with the published prices indicates acceptance of our sales policy. Cannot be any complaint about our prices.


To purchase electronic tickets to Machu Picchu or the optional sites, we act on the orders of our customers and make the purchase in your name. Therefore, we do not assume any responsibility in case of accidents, loss of tickets, delays or impediments of the visit to Machu Picchu by events that do not involve our responsibility, especially in the use of the tickets purchased on our web site.

Return travel tickets:

Only if the DRC-C cancels the entrances to the archaeological sites, the holder of the ticket or travel agent have the right to demand a refund of the fare paid, return which will proceed, unique and invariably, with the presentation of the original ticket and provisions issued to the stage in particular, be a requirement for appropriate processing. Penalty of 25%, If the request is made 48 hours prior. Penalty of 10%, If the request is made 72 hours prior.
