Upon Arrival in Cusco, reception at the airport by our representative and transfer to your selected hotel. And there you will receive a briefing on your tour; vouchers covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your trip. 13.00 hrs. Pick up time. We will visit the City of Cusco on a guided sightseeing tour visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha. Then, we drive out of the City to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones, after a panoramic view of Puca Pucara (panoramic view of Puca Pucara from the bus) we ended the tour at 18.30 Hrs. approx.

07:20. m. approx. pick up from your hotel in Cusco and begin the tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. First we visit the impressive ruins of Pisac with strategically located buildings, agricultural terraces and the enigmatic Inca cemetery, and then go to the typical Indian market (Pisac market) where you can experience the traditions and customs of its people and will have the opportunity to negotiate and purchase colorful souvenirs at affordable prices.
In the afternoon, we pass through Calca and Urubamba on the way to the fortress of Ollantaytambo,built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes of the forest, then visit Chinchero to get an idea of how it was this military, religious and administrative center during the inca empire. Return to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

The day starts with an early morning transfer to Cusco train station for a 3 ½ hours journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as “The Lost City of the Incas” one of the best known examples of surviving Inca architecture. Arrive at Aguas Calientes Station followed by a 30-minutes bus drive, climbing 6km of winding road, to the marvelous Citadel. Upon arrival, you will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the main plaza, the temple of the sun, the sacred sun dial, the royal quarters, the temple of the three windows. After the tour you’ll have time to stroll around the Archaeological Site at your leisure. Late afternoon return to Cusco. Transfer to your hotel.
