8.30 to 8.30 am. Transfer from the hotel to or pass. On the way to the millenary archaeological complex of Chavín de Huantar, for this we will pass through the towns of Recuay called as the porch of the Huaylas alley since it is the first city of the Huaylas alley. Following our tour we will arrive at the Querococha lagoon (4010m). We will continue ascending until we reach the Cahuish tunnel (4500m) with almost half a kilometer in length. When passing this tunnel we pass from the alley of Huaylas to the alley of Conchucos.
After a delicious lunch we will tour this ceremonial center. The ceremonial center with an age of 1000Aac considered one of the main cultures of Peru as it excelled in architecture, astronomy and other sciences. We will see the replica of the Raymondi Stele that is located at the entrance, we will continue with the replica of the Tello obelisk. Continuing we will reach the square or sunken square as it is located on a sunken platform. Then we go to the Chavín temple, to the circular square, then to the main god of this culture, the Lanzón de Chavín, which is inside a gallery which bears the same name, we also see the nail heads considered as the guardians of the Chavín temple. After this interesting and magical journey, our bus will take us back to the city of Huaraz. We will return to Huaraz at 5:00 p.m. Approx.
